Um acidente envolvendo um caminhão da banda do cantor Léo Santana deixou duas pessoas mortas na BR-116, na altura da cidade de Itatim, a cerca de 220 km de Salvador, no sábado (6). A informação foi confirmada pela assessoria do artista.

Conforme a nota divulgada pela produção do cantor, neste domingo (7), as vítimas estavam em um caminhão contratado para transportar os equipamentos da banda. Não há informações sobre as causas do acidente.

De acordo com a ViaBahia, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 9h, na altura do km 523, quando o caminhão da banda bateu de frente com outro veículo do mesmo porte.

As vítimas foram identificadas como Luiz Gustavo da Ressurreição, que dirigia o caminhão, e Ivonilson de Brito Lima, que seguia como passageiro. Os dois saíram de Salvador e estavam sozinhos no veículo. A idade deles não foi informada. Não há detalhes de para onde o caminhão seguia.

No Storie do Instagram, Léo lamentou o acidente e falou sobre a relação com as vítimas.

“É muito ‘punk’ ter que trabalhar quando se recebe uma notícia ruim, drástica. Um caminhão da minha banda, da minha equipe, com duas pessoas que trabalhavam na equipe da gente acabou batendo de frente com uma carreta. Os dois vieram a falecer. Ter que trabalhar com isso na cabeça é muito forte, é muito punk. Fica meus pêsames para os familiares do Gustavo e do Nabo, que eram moleques que eu gostava demais. Que Deus conforte os corações de vocês”, disse o artista.
